Uruguay borders the South Atlantic Ocean, between Argentina and Brazil and it's capital is called Montevideo.

The country declared its independence from Brazil on 25 August 1825 and today its political and labor conditions are among the freest on the continent. Slightly smaller than the state of Washington, it's landscape is composed mainly of rolling plains and low hills; fertile coastal lowland.
92% of the population is urbanized and 98% literate. Uruguay's economy is characterized by an export-oriented agricultural sector. Main exports include: beef, soybeans, cellulose, rice, wheat, wood, dairy products. The country has a well-educated work force, and high levels of social spending. CIA World Factbook
