Access to food, water, shelter, safety and healthcare are what we mean by basic rights and while we initially dubbed this section basic needs, we quickly changed it to rights as it should be everyone’s right to have access to these staples. Disaster relief also falls under this category even though its devastating repercussions cause damage in many other sectors.
