Chocolate, an Affair of the Emotions

A move from high-quality clock-making to the confection of chocolate may at first seem an incongruous one. Yet, it is from such a metamorphosis that was born, on Lake Geneva’s shores, the veritable temple of a thousand and one flavours which bears the name O’Saveurs representing a new landmark in Geneva’s landscape of chocolate luxuriance.

The story of O’Saveurs begins with the coming together of two chocolate lovers, Marc-André Cartier, chocolate artisan whose artistry had been passed down from father to son for 150 years, and Roger Guye, former business owner and marketeer in the luxury clock and jewelry industries, today party to the conquest of the new black gold, cocoa.

“Chocolate is a luxury product, and luxury before all else is knowing how to take pleasure. It is an affair of the emotions,” is Roger Guye’s assessment.This is why O’Saveurs makes it a point of honour to produce products of only the highest quality. “Real chocolates,” as opposed to commercial stock.

Made from the finest ingredients, these contain no additives, nor fat other than cocoa butter. Issue of the finest cultivating practices and prepared according to a traditional and family savoir faire, these elicit the purest and most distinctive of sensations.All the ingredients are thus assembled to effect a sending of the consumer into a sumptuous universe of audacious mixes, new creations, but also great classics to discover or rediscover.
